Daft Punk back in the studio!

Ultimate electronica duo Daft Punk are back! After finishing the NeverEverLand tour in Australia, it’s been reported that everybody’s favourite French robots are finally settling down to record more music. The news was first leaked by their manager for the past 12 years, Busy P, otherwise known as Pedro Winter – the owner of the notorious Ed Banger Records – when talking about his label’s new compilation ”Ed Rec Vol III”.
In an interview with Australia’s In The Mix, he revealed: “The boys are in a studio in Paris at the moment and I can’t wait to listen to their new stuff! The good thing is that they are making music at the moment.”
However, it is not known when this new studio album will be released, if at all! “They are slow, you know,” Busy P laughed when asked. “They are taking their time, and they have a right.”
Daft Punk’s longtime manager also revealed that he recently decided to step down from managing Daft Punk so he can focus on the Ed Banger record label. “I’ve stopped working with them really recently, because I want to focus and concentrate on Ed Banger and my artists, and my own career as Busy P.”
Daft Punk’s last studio release was 2005’s “Human After All”, an album conjured up in just 6 weeks, for which the duo received many criticisms. However with previous efforts such as “Homework” and “Discovery” under their belts, who knows what they’ll present!
