Janet Jackson has issued a statement explaining the reason behind canceling nine North American shows of her current tour, Rock Witchu. Her symptoms include dizziness and severe migraines, similar to the condition vertigo.

The statement said: “She’s a world-class entertainer and needs to be at the top of her game to give her fans the show they expect. She’s feeling much better and is ready to hit the road again to finish the tour.”

Jackson resumed her tour last night in Washington, although her Madison Square show the day after has been pushed back to November 1st. Other canceled date will be rescheduled shortly as not to disappoint fans.
