Lead singer Alex Kapranos of Franz Ferdinand has revelaed details of the bands upcoming third studio album. The 12 track album which is due for release in late January next year, will be named ‘Tonight: Franz Ferdinand’ and is the follow up to the 2005 album ‘You Could Have It So Much Better’.

The new album was mainly recorded at the the bands own Glasgow studio, but other parts were recorded at producer Dan Carey’s London studio. Dan Carey has worked with the likes of Hot Chip and CSS.

In addition to the album release the band will also be revealing UK tour dates along with details on their next single soon.
