We reported back in October that half of this year’s Glastonbury tickets had sold out in a pre sale event. Yesterday saw more tickets becoming available and all of them selling out. Glastonbury 2009 is now sold out, with the only tickets possibly becoming available being cancelled tickets.

The surprising take on this news of a sell out is that not a single act has yet been confirmed for the 2009 festival, which compares favourably to the initial struggles faced in selling tickets for 2008’s festival which say Jay Z perform.
