Florence To Be On The New Twilight Soundtrack?

Recently the lead singer of Florence And The Machine, Florence Welch, has been dropping hints that she might be contributing music to the new Twilight movie, Eclipse which is to be released later this year. The singer was speaking as part of a special 10 covers issue for NME on the state of music in 2010.

Welch said “I would do a song for the Twilight soundtrack, but its not confirmed yet”

In the same NME interview, she admitted that she avoids using the internet, in case she reads something about herself that she doesn’t like.

“Don’t ever Google yourself, ever. I really avoid it,” she explained. “Another thing I can’t look at is Wikipedia. There was a thing on it that said my mother was Irish and that I’ve got bipolar disorder!”

The special NME covers have been made to mark the launch of the new NME revamp. The magazine has had a complete make over, with a new front, features and reviews sections, and an update for NME’s iconic logo.
